For my Ancestry tree, thank you. Thomas and his father, William, are relatives by marriage to a cousin of mine, 5 times removed, Susannah, nee Cousins. I think he and Susannah must have been separated/divorced as he eventually lived in Suffolk, having retired from the Inland Revenue at the age of 50, and she in Essex, with her mother, working as a Licensed Victualler, although when he died he left his money to her. For some reason, although he died on 7 June, 1880, probate wasn't until 1897.
